*sigh* While I have a bit of a cold (methinks) and am feeling pretty good now, Joyce is feeling fairly sick for the second day in a row. -_- Then again, she's sick at least once a month... pessimists tend to get sick more often than optimists, and we both agree that I'm a lot more optimistic on the whole than she is.

There was a little article in the Star this morning with a good site for finding bloopers in movies (www.moviemistakes.com)... it was talking about ones in ROTK in particular. I went and checked it out... the site doesn't seem to like my computer too much... but it's got some good things.

For instance: "At the crowning ceremony for King Aragorn, the four hobbits stand side by side, and Merry is a little taller than the other three. However, for the shot when everyone bows, the scale double for Merry is obviously the shortest of the four." My random fact: he's also the youngest--in his early teens.

In other news... I wrote a song last night! I was sitting in my room, humming a few random songs, and started playing around with a bar from one of them, and ended up with a little melody of my own. Then, I wrote 3 verses... or 2 and a chorus... all in about... 30-45 minutes. And yes Jen, it was approaching midnight. (For some reason, I tend to go deep/poetic the later it gets. Believe me, I do...) Do they need work/could it do with another one? Possably... I was happy with it at midnight last night if that means anything, and I'm told that I'm a decent poet. I figured out one or two little harmonies for it today at the piano, and wrote them down... so now I can play and sing it. *is happy*

And that's the only productive thing I've done over the last 24 hours. Methinks I've got too much time on my hands. :P

a bunch of random quizzies and stuff )
