Just incase they said no...
Nov. 22nd, 2004 09:16 pmOkay. So... I was away on the weekend. It was fun. I shall write a post on it later, but for now I shall direct all of you curious to Lauren's lj post on it. I promise I will write it (and my post on Sr High/Thanksgiving ^^;) sometime... when I actually have time, which won't be for another 2 weeks, I asure you, saying as I just found out that I have 2 things due at the end of next week, one of which requires major studying, and my spare shall be used singing because Selbs asked me today if I could help add support to the 1st soprano part of her vocal class. ^^;
Anyways... I got home today, and turned on the TV. Guess what I found out. John Morgan is dead. No... not Serenity and Bowen's dad... the guy from Air Farce.
Mike... from Canmore.
He died last week.
Another death. Sure, this is a celebrety, not someone I knew intimately at all. Still, he was so awesome in his impersonations... and... well... it's one more death.
Yes, I'm letting the subject of death get to me too much again. I know I joke about it sometimes... but in reality, the subject does scare me. Not to mention depress me. I mean... although I didn't expect it, I wasn't too suprised when mom put on my (and Joyce's) registration forms for our church sleepover that our grandmother had died... (I forget where, but there's an area that allows for comments like that... ^^;)
I take individual cases of death fairly well... I don't think I've cried yet over one this year. Still... It does get to me.
I just don't show it all the time. *smiles*
( quizzies )
