16 going on 17 no more

I am going to attempt to post this at exactly the time I was born... *changes the date/time thing up at the top so it wil say that I did either way*
( Anyway... ) today has been an awesome day.
I woke up and was half-suprised to see that I could make out the door... it's been dark ever sinse the time change (yay for sunrise getting earlier!). One of the first things I heard was that the TTC strike has been negated... for now. This is good because... erm... I'm going downtown tomorrow, and required the services of Mr. Train. ^^;
I go downstairs, and get some b-day presents... my parents are trying to get me a subscription to next year's Mirvish season! *fangirl squee-age*
When I get to school... I get wished happy b-day from a few people, and find out that I don't have to write the chem test that I *thought* was going to be today for me until Wednesday! *grins* Yeah... that's a nice b-day present, intentional or not.
The rest of the day went by pretty uneventfully... people wished me happy b-day and Ms. Lang forgot to get a cake, as I said she would... ^^;
Had a pasta dinner and cheesecake... *drools* (would have slightly preferred a fruity cheesecake as opposed to a chocolatey one, but it was goooooooooooooooooooood *licks lips*). After... umm... Lauren emailed me a few minutes ago... and apparently "Kari" tried to draw me a happy b-day pic. ^^;
And of course, the last few minutes of my 16th year have been spent singing "16 going on 17" *heh*

COUNTDOWN: umm... 365 days till my next b-day
Random fact: I share a birthday with Joel Grey, AKA the original Wizard of Oz in the musical Wicked, although he is probably known best as the Master of Ceremonies from Cabaret...
