Well, election day is upon us Canadians. As of... hopefully bedtime, we shall have a new PM, or at least a new parliament with a lot of old returning faces and a few new ones.
Honestly, I'm not looking foreward to the conservative government that is being forecasted. I'd much rather have certain other leaders in power. So... needless do say, I'm hoping for another minority (even if minority governments do have their own set of problems).
What I really hate is how basically every pollitical ad has faced on the negative aspects of the other leaders. I'd much rather hear about what you're going to do than why I should not vote for the other guy(s). That being said, I can't vote as I miss the age limit by 2 months and 19 days, but meh. If I were to vote, it would be going to a certain herd of lemmings. Those who know what I'm talking about, good for you. Those who don't... I'm probably not supposed to be influencing others' voting by saying who I would anyway... so :P
The government is going to be corrupt no matter who gets in, isn't it? I just hope that certain laws (particularily dealing with gay rights and such) don't get messed up with this next government.

Random fact: the first woman to climb Mt Everest was Junko Tabei, a Japanese woman.
