I will be starting to study for my last exam today, but first, I think I need to lj-tise... 'cause a lot has happenned recently.
To start off with... I got braces yesterday. Still getting used to them... it's only been 19-ish hours after all... but I'm getting there, I think.
I'm gonna miss gum. And hard candies. And carrots. I will not miss corn on the cob, as I don't like the sensation of cob in my teeth to begin with. I'm on the fence with steak.
I also saw "E-Denitity" last night. It was quite an interesting play. I enjoyed it. Very multimedia, very funny. ^^ And lots of acapella singing. *droools*
I think the hardest thing about the braces to get used to is just how it changes the placement of my lips. Or, my upper lip at least, but I'm certain it will the bottom one as well after I GET my bottom braces in. (That will be in a few months.) We'll see though.
And I'll probably get them off around the time that I graduate from uni. Probably. =P
I haven't lost any weight in the past two weeks. It kinda makes me T_T, but ah well. I'm just gonna have to work harder. More exercising!
I don't know how to do "healthy eating on braces". Especially saying that I'm finding eating veggies to be an... interesting experience right now. And tasting stuff is a little harder since I find I need to use my back teeth more and... I need to get used to eating. Yes.
I'm also almost done exams. Down two, one to go. Apparently, I need to learn how to write proper research essays... I'll have to work on this next year.
I went to "Phantom" last Wednesday too. I forget if I talked about it before or not. It was good. Not as good as Broadway, but good nonetheless. It amused me that I could see the word "chandelier" on the chandelier's cover at the beginning once again. There was stuff written on the other covers too, but I couldn't read them from where I was. T_T
The Firmin was great though. And so was "notes" in general. Though I was sad because they cut Raoul's part of the graveyard scene. Well, the part where he sings the countermelody to "Angel of Music". He also messed up a line once, and Meg was sharp. But I suppose this is just me knowing the musical better than I should.
I still liked it lots and lots though. ^^
And then... there's the fandoming.
I haven't watched much more Ranma 1/2. I need to finish the second season soon... I have stuff I have to return to my cousin at AN in 4 weeks, and that's one of them.
I HAVE watched the first few episodes of Trigun though. It amsuses me. And one of the characters reminds me of Heiderich from the FMA movie for some reason. ^^;;;
two_powers and I have worked more on our costumes. She's making her blazer... (she == awesome). We're also planning on doing a sparring match for Masquerade if we can. Me as Honey, her as Mori. We've choreographed it, and are now trying to memorize it. And then she's gonna help me look like I have a clue as for what I'm doing. Making it look like we have over a foot of height difference is gonna be interesting though. I'm tying to stay down and crouching, and she's wearing shoes with... somewhat higher heels than canon (did I mention it amuses me that Mori's shoes have heels at all? It's part of the uniform, but still. =P).
Also, I just realized this morning, that in the past year, all but two of the 01 Chosen Children have been cosplayed in the GTA. All we need is a Mimi and Jou, and we'll have a complete set.
Now, if only there was a way to get all the people to get together and actually have an 01 photoshoot somewhere. That would be...... SO FRIGGEN AWESOME!!!!!! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.
Speaking of Digimon... I GOT MY TAG AND CREST!!!! Thank you so so so much,
hikari_light!
I picked it up on Wednesday, and then wore it to my exam. I think it actually helped. =P (Go knowledge?) After, someone complimented me on my "necklace". I felt so geeky. And yet proud. And... yes. ^^
Something annoying happenned yesterday. My drama prof emailed the class. And I, like probably most, thought it would be a note FINALLY telling us who got into 3rd year. But it wasn't. It was saying that we could get free tickets to the preview of her show last night. Which I couldn't go to anyways. So... nice gesture, but annoying.
Anyways... I should probably go now... so I shall end this here for now.
