It's Wednesday.
Yeah, it's Wednesday.
I'm probably gonna be doing more job searching stuffs today. I'm hoping that it goes well. It'll probably be mainly going to the Summer Jobs Services place again at Durham College, so that shouldn't be too bad. Yesterday, I dropped off, like 4 more resumes, and I'm definitely doing at least one more today (the person wasn't there yesterday that I was supposed to give it to)... and it went well.... but before I went out, I was either hyperventilating or having a minor anxiety attack or something because my chest was feeling constricted and I was crying and... yeah. >.<
I think I might start trying for some out-of-the-box ideas.... I might try doing something by myself or something. I don't know what. Mom suggested maybe doing something with seniors, since I am good with being with them (which apparently is rare), but I dunno. Sometimes I have doubts about what I can do/could be good at.
I need to lose weight. Ideally I want to weight 120lbs on my 20th b-day. I weigh... more than that right now. And I'm at a point now where I can feel it. And... it'd be nice to be a little slimmer. It's just hard to get started on something, especially saying I'd be more or less doing it alone right now. If I had a buddy, it'd probably be easier. Buuut... *Shrugs*
It's life.
I've been talking to my mom about a few things in my life lately. Some things have gone crappily (read: jobs/money), but I've also come across some really lucky breaks too. I'd say what some of them are, but I don't want to embarrass a few people. ^^;
Still no SO though. =P
I'm starting to type up a fanfic of mine. It's far from being finished, but maybe if I get people reading it, it will actually GET FINISHED. It's something I've never seen done before, too: basically a complete childhood history of Haninozuka Mitsukuni and Morinozuka Takashi from Ouran High School Host Club. As of now, they're still babies, and it's G-PG rated. It might go upwards from there, but not for a while. I haven't decided if I'm gonna have any pairings in it or not. (Besides the parents, but that kinda... doesn't count. Because the kids wouldn't exist without their parents, and honestly, their fathers have hardly appeared.) We'll see how it goes. ^_^
Randomly, my O key is acting weird. I have to re-try to get my o's a fair amount. This has only happened this time that I've been on here, so hopefully it's nothing to worry about.
I'm gonna have to get my lappy maintenanced though... the CD/DVD drive is kinda... not working. >.<
...and now the cable is randomly cutting out every now and then. >.< ANNOYING!
Northern Anime Festival is coming up. I'm gonna hopefully be a panelist on it. I've gotten about 3 or 4 panels together... but I need to write up my submission for them and... actually submit them. But... since I plan to do at least 3, I get free admission!!! YAYZ!
I'm also working on my cosplay for it. I'm gonna be doing Honey-sempai again, but I'm also gonna be doing his younger brother, Yasuchika. (I'm the ONLY YASUCHIKA on Cosplay.com, and will be the third one that I know of to cosplay as him. (meaning, I've seen photos of two more Satoshi/Yasuchika teams, which is what![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
two_powers and I are doing. ^_^)
If anyone else is planning to do Ouran cosplay (at NAF or elsewhere), please let me know! I wanna see pics! =P And if it IS for NAF.... then I have one or two things that I want to get organized, but I need more people for it so plleeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaase let me know! ^_^
Speaking about cosplay... I'm still seriously thinking about trying to organize a Digimon photoshoot for the GTA. I really have no idea where to start though... I'd want to plan it with someone else, but I don't know who I even could really ask. If anyone would like to co-plan it with me, I'd love to talk about ideas! ^____^
But... yeah. Job-ing this afternoon. ....yeah. The good/bad thing, depending on how it's looked at, is that this is probably the last time I'll be doing it this week. Good for my nerves, bad for getting my name out to more places. I'm really not sure WHERE to look anymore though! I saw some signs up at the Pickering Town Centre actually, but I don't know how I'd get there, and... one or two other things as well.
That's my main problem for anywhere: transportation.
I REALLY need to get working towards my G2. I'd be fine if I lived in Toronto, since they have lots of nice public transportation, but Brooklin.... doesn't.
*sigh*
Things will eventually go well, I'm sure.
I randomly hung out withxbillyxtalentx, blackdrazon and knightky yesterday. Jen and Jason work together, and were coming home together and randomly called me and were like "hey, wanna hang out?" I was like "sure!". And then we were passing by near where Kyle lives and thought "why not invite him too?" And so we went to the superstore and called him on my cel from there, and got to talk to him on the third or fourth try, after much angsting on Jen's part over the lack of her favourite type of sushi. And we had two video-game moments at the same time, independantly of each other. Jason was thinking that, when calling him, it was like one of those NPCs in video games that you have to talk to in order to do the most mundane things. And as soon as he hung up, before he said ANYTHING about that, I was like "OBTAINED FOURTH PARTY MEMBER!" and there was victory music supplied by.... not me. XD
...we later decided that Kyle was our meat shield. =P
And then we went to Jen's to eat, and then to Jason's to play Munchkin and WarrioWare. It was... fun. Except it went later than I would have liked, but ah well.
We stopped at Shopper's on the way back to my house... and I stayed in the car, but I noticed that one of my former grade 1 classmates is still on staff. Yay him?
Anyways.... it's lunchtime, so I shall go and eat now. Happy afternoon everyone.
