December in a nutshell
Dec. 7th, 2010 12:00 pmWednesday (1) -- Last day of tutorials. Found out assignment being handed back on Friday (3). Said screw this and waited to pick it up from Student Services instead.
Thursday (2) -- Work on work. Geek around. Finalize plans for Friday (3).
Friday (3) -- Christmas shopping. Not much buying, but ideas gotten.
Saturday (4) -- Photo editing, turkey dinner at church, more photo editing.
Sunday (5) -- Church, choir, up later than I should have been (midnight) getting notes for in-class open-book exam tabbed. Started this right after getting home. >.<
Monday (6) -- Woken up at 5am (but hadn't really slept well anyway, was wiiide awake but trying not to be) in order to leave house at 6. x_x Open-book, in-class exam. Fairly easy. Got paper back, B. Deserved it, TA made good notes. Found a vertebra in my turkey sandwich, the stuffing's fault. Got home at 7-ish, veg'd for four hours then went to bed.
Tuesday (7) (today) -- Awake sometime between 4 and 5, couldn't get back to sleep but tried until 5:30 alarm. Left house at 6:30. Got back 2 papers, A- and A. Amazed by the A-, though by the comments given, surprised it's not slightly higher. But thought it would be worse, so it's all ok in the end. Went to check in with my boss, found out I'll be invited to a Christmas party around the 12th day of Christmas (what I get for working for this group =3). Was going to set up camp outside of library, but mopping, so inside for now. Will go out at noonish for noms and stuff.
Class at 2, then poster-set up, and get to show that off until 7. Then home. I might just break my own rule and take the TTC down to Union so I can get home faster. *tiiiired*
Wednesday (8) -- SLEEP, be lazy, write/mail Christmas cards (if not tonight) (if anyone else wants one, sign up here), work on papers, work on presents, work on work.
Thusday (9) -- See Wednesday (8)
Friday (10) -- Hand in reflection paper. Go Christmas shopping.
Satuday (11) -- See Wednesday (8). Also: bake. Also also: Consider making that cape (if not already done by then)
Sunday (12) -- DTAC
Monday (13) -- Hand in paper. Celebrate being done. Celebrate St. Lucia's Day. Try to find/convince someone to draw Su-san with a wreath and candles on his head. (Gender roles be damned.)
Tuesday (14) -- First day of freedom. Work on work, clean, be lazy. Doctor's appointment (unless it's rescheduled... AGAIN).
Days of note between then and end of year:
Thursday (16) -- Sister comes home.
Friday (17) -- Grandfather back in Canada, but not home.
Saturday (18) -- Cousin's wedding.
Sometime between Tuesday (21) and Thursday (23) -- Choir practice, go see live nativity pagent.
Friday (24) -- Christmas Eve.
Saturday (25) -- Christmas.
Sunday (26) -- Boxing day. (Huh. I can use boxing day as an anchor. I must remember this.)
Sometime between Monday (27) and Thursday (30) -- Glen and Jason's birthdays. (30 and 29 respectively. I think Monday (27) and Wednesday (29), but I don't remember.) (No, not
