Christmas presents

I was talking to my sister a little while ago... she was (and still is) painting a picture on a piece of cardboard. When I asked her what it was for, she said it was going to be a Christmas present.
Now, I'm going to be a little hypocritical. I used to do things like that too, but I'm not sure if it's the best idea to give little crafts like that as Christmas presents. Maybe along with something else, but still. A few years ago, she gave me a "happy cherry pie" basically, a pie made out of 2 paper plates and some red felt with happy faces drawn on it. Like I did with that, I know that whatever is given will be received graciously, whether wanted or not. And she is a lot better than I ever was at art, but she's no professional yet either.
I suppose in the end, it's the thought that counts.
Speaking of Christmas, I've still got presents to buy, and no idea when I can get out to get them... especially saying they're for my parents ^^;
Countdown: 12 days left! 11 till Christmas eve, which I, being the weird child I am, like better than Christmas itself!
