Well, the show is now over. In a week, school will be over. I don't want it to be. Well, I do, but I don't. I want summer to come, because it means camp, but I am going to miss a lot of people who are leaving this year. Between Wilson opening, and people graduating, I'm going to lose a whole lot of people that I know. Not people who I'm overly close to for the most part, but I'm not close to many people, and can get sentimental easily. I would give a longer explanation but a) I doubt anyone would want to hear it, and b) I don't know how I would word it in a way that would not sound just like I was rambling on... which I do a lot it seems...

Anyways... it's the weekend now. As of tomorrow it will have been a week since closing night. It seems like a lot longer. I miss doing the play. I really do. Its so great... the energy, the warm-up games, the inside jokes, the random singing of songs, which are either showtunes or have great harmonies or are just plain fun. I just wish that I were closer to a number of the people. I mean... I get along well enough with everyone, and I can easily have a conversation with most of them... but I feel like I'm on the outside of the group. Everyone else seems closer... or at least seems to be in groups of closeness. The question is, am I pushing myself away, or is it hard for me to break into groups that are already formed... or both? *sigh* I wish I were more outgoing... I'm fine once I know a person, or feel comfortable in a situation, but I can get very shy and reserved very easily... something about being afraid of making first moves. I think I've talked of this too many times already.

*1 week passes*

Okay... now school basically is over. I don't think it's fully hit me yet that I may never see some of those people again. I mean... there's always exam review day (I'm going... need to pick up my MT-related stuff) and then the MUN dinner next Friday, not to mention commencement next year (go me-inet-ing!), but still, so many people leaving. I don't know how I'm going to be this time next year... probably the same as always... taking one last look before quietly exiting, saying goodbye, but hardly noticed by most...

Anyways... on a more happy note, I'M DONE ALL SCHOOL-WORK FOR MY GRADE 11 YEAR!!!! I say this as even though I am going on exam review day, there's no work. Just looking at your exams and then doing very little for the rest of the period. Maybe watching a movie, or helping to pack stuff up or something, but that's it. No more learning and worrying about tests for another... 2 months! Tee hee hee!

Oh wait, hold that thought... I need to study for/get my G1 this summer. I think my parents would kill me otherwise. Now that I actually do have time I mean... *heh*

Exams were fairly good this year, I must say, but as per usual with any Physics test or exam, I ran out of time on it. ^^; Yeah... I had 1 question left untouched, and 2 unfinished ones... out of... 8 in the application section. I finished the other 2 sections easily. ^_^ Just one question: is it a bad sign to have "If I Only Had a Brain" stuck in your head as you arrive at school in preparation for writing your last exam? ^^;

Now, just to sit, wait, and hope that I got good marks on all 3 of them. Meh... I've already passed all my courses no matter what, and, if I'm not mistaken, made the honour roll. ^_^

Anyone interested in randomly getting together for a LIFE/Twister tournament sometime next week?

Oh, BTW Jen, you were wrong. All the grade 10 science exams were today at 10:45, not Monday like you said yesterday. So you still would have been done earlier than me if you had stayed in it... grrr... *shakes fist*

And now, onto yearbooks. I got the 65th signature in my yearbook today. Wow. Some of them are short and fairly impersonal, others are a little funny, others are nice and sentimental. Probably half of them are from people that I won't see again, after this next week at least. That scares me. It really does.

In Musical Theatre on Wednesday, there were a lot of people crying. I wasn't one of them. I felt... overly detached. Should I be feeling this way? Gah!

Jen... I'm getting philosophical, and it's just 10:00 now... *is scared*

Yesterday was Joyce's grad. She won the citizenship award. Go sis! She also got the Winchester Letter, and is part of the "circle of excellence". Next week she's on grad trip, so I shall be able to enjoy all the perks of being an only child for... 3 days. ^_^ Tee hee hee...

But yeah, time is going way too fast right now. Can we just go back to 2 weeks ago to the shows and stay there for a while? I'd like that muchly. But instead, I have to be content with the memories that I have from it while curling up on the couch reading Wicked. Yeah... I'm planning on spending my summer reading Ozian literature. *pushes up invisible glasses of geek-i-ness* Yeah... doing the musical got me interested in reading the books behind it. *heh*

Speaking of the musical, we saw it on video on Tuesday and Wednesday, and it looks great. We all started into spontaneous laughter when we got to Richard's now famous line, "She's dead! You killed her!" We had a pizza party on Wednesday, and so we were munching down on Panago pizza while watching. Mmmm... their pizza is good. They've got some great, if unusual flavours. For instance, I had 4 cheese (very delicious), and taco. Yes, taco pizza. That was quite interesting, and tasted good. ^_^ Hmm... anyone randomly want to go there with me one day and order some more queer-ish pizzas?

On Monday we got to look at everyone's production books. Melody's in particular was Oz-some. She basically took the plot line of The Wizard of Oz and changed it to fit her activities within the course. It looked really professional and very good. ^_^ We then got awards from the teachers. They had one for everyone in the class. Mine was... The best hair award, of course!

The exact wording: "The Best Hair Award goes to Marge Simpson, I mean, Claire Baker."

Tee hee hee, perfect, no? Yeah... that's what comes of my lime green beehive wig looking too much like Marge Simpson's hair on a TV set with very bad colour.

Yeah.. some pretty funny awards were given out. They had to do with everything from names to shoes to hair to lines to boxers. 'Twas quite amusing... we were all laughing at half of them as they were given out.

Hmm... I think I shall end this post here for now. So... on to

*points* That's an Ozian quote, that is!

You are pink. You are in limbo. Not pure and manipulated like white, not impure and noble like red. You are unsure of your real identity, but whatever you chose it to be, you can be it. That is your power. You change everyone you touch, and everyone remembers you. In literature, pink represents the place between heaven and hell. You are the one we will never forget.

What inner color are you?

Tee hee hee... I see that you, like me, post more comments than you receive. Erm... go us?

As for "JACKING UP [MY] COMMENT RATING"... I have a friend that could probably help you out. Yup... his name is Jack. ^^;

all my comments are in my own journal, I've noticed...clearly I talk to myself more than is advisable

LOL at the title.

Once again, I know the feeling... half the comments in here are mine. ^^;

I can't help it that I'm the only one interesting to converse with around here!

(why yes alex, that's very true, but you shouldn't tell them, they won't like to hear it)

34: Claire, you don't drink carbonated beverages anyway! I mean, unless you're aiming for some kind of martini-kiddie-pool.

Hehe. Colour-quizzes. Hey, Claire, weren't you in a different house last time you took a Potter-quiz?

Yay! No carbonated beverages = one more reason I can get out of most people's offers of drinks. ^_^

...and I was probably in Hufflepuff.

I go back and forth between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, with the occational Gryffendor (mostly when taking the test on the official site).

you are suffering from PPS - Post Production Syndrome. Only time can heal your wounds. worry not, it will get better.

and, you crazy girl, of course you will be missed next year :)
but i am sure you will keep rocking the sin-you
(see? I catch on)

...yeah, I know what PPS is like. This isn't my 1st time dealing with it, though it is the first time in a while. It's definately not the most fun thing in the world... but that's what one gets for being sentimental, and thinking too much.

Oh, and you are right. I shall rock the sin-me, while playing my me-inet, and trying to confuse people when they ask me to "claire-ify" things. Possably while eating some oh-so-delicious e-mes.

PS: Try replacing all the "me's" with my first name.

Oh the horrible mis-spellings...
