I feel so confused right now.
And stressed.
And uncreative.

Of course, the entire fact that I feel pretty drained right now doesn't exactly help either...

It figures. The one time I finally decide that it would be good to try out directing, and not only do I have problems controling my group, but I can't decide what should be done about blocking and costuming.

Well... it's too late to back out now... I just hope that everything does end up working out.

And then there's... the rest of my life.

School=stress.
Home=lonliness.

Directing can really be a drag. I rmemeber back in drama class when I had to direct a scene from my book. Is that the assignment you're doing? I'm sure that you'll think of something soon. I mean, hlaf the art of comign up with something is giving it some time. If that doesn;'t work, then try out a variety of things, see how it works out. Make sure actors/actresses around turning their back on the audience or blocking each other.
I'm sure it will all work out in the end. You could also ask what their ideas are.
As hating the experience, all I can suggest is that you just let the people know that they're mark is in tragity if they don't work.
Hope you can feel a little less stressed soon.

It looks like I'm not cut out to be a director either. :P

All the stress will be gone as of... lunchtime on the Wednesday of exams (AKA when this semester is over for me). *nods*

It takes far too much patience to be a director. Especially when you're in their class and they really dfon't care about drama or their mark. That's one reason I'm glad that I'm in college now.
Hopefully you'll do fine, I'm sure that you will. In fact I'm surwe you'll do amazing even. :)
Stress is neccessary in life however, without some chaos, nothing would ever really happen. That's my thought anyway.

Ah... well, today was much better... so I'm happier now...
But yeah... for me its more about being assertive than it is patience.

And thankfully, by grade 12, people are starting to stay in it more for the love of drama, though there are always some exceptions... -_-
