A moment of possible closure

I've officially passed my second placement. I can put it behind me now. Or at least try to. I'm tired of crying half the time that I'm talking about it.
And now for a meme:
Comment and I'll give you a letter, then you have to list ten people/places/things you love that begin with that letter, afterwards post it on your journal and fill out letters of your own.
ranalinde gave me the letter E!
1) Elephant Show (The)
Ok, this pretty much is my childhood summed up in one TV show. Sharon, Lois and Bram, their colourful, wholesome adventures with a bunch of local kids, and a giant elephant. And Eric, and special guest du jour, of course. *skinnamarinks at the lot of you*
2) Eighty-eight
The year that gave you me~! So, naturally, it's important to me.
3) Estonia
I love my Estonia muse. I do. It's really fun to go LATVIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! And go between standing up a little to Mr. Russia (being the rich good student of the Baltics) and... being terrified and making tea. And worrying about everything. and-and-and.... other stuff. XD
Eventually I want to get a group of baltics together and sing/record/something to do with When You Believe from the Prince of Egypt. I have it perfectly worked out in my mind, how it could work as a trio. Yes, I'm a tiny bit obsessed, I know. XD
(and this is WITHOUT touching on the topic of Finland. Hooo boy.)
4) England
FINLAND FINLAND FINLAND! THAT'S THE COUNTRY FOR ME!
Well, speak of the devil.
Finland's my main muse from Hetalia still. He... takes over my brain, his history fascinates me, I just love playing him. Even if some things can bet me down easy when he's in my head, like being called a wife repeatedly (especially when there's no Sweden AROUND at the time), or... certain things that deal with... certain... dark moments in his history. Including a few songs that triggor these for me. Heh.
5) I said ENGLAND
Yes, I just used a Monty Python-based ruse to get Finland in there. So sue me.
But England, home OF Monty Python, excessive tea-drinking, the queen, Sherlock Holmes,
shutupred, and much, much more... is very important to me.
It's a large part of my heritage. It's a large part of my country's heritage.
England is one of the countries that I literally love most of what I know of its culture. A lot of which isn't that much different than what's over here.
I might end up thwapped for this, but I love going to tea houses because they... get my head into an English place.
I took a course about Old English, and I found it fascinating. So many lovely stories came out of that country, from the epic poems of the Old English, to the King Arthur tales, to Shakespeare's plays.... to Harry Potter. And much much more in between.
I hope I can go there some day, and see the land for myself.
6) Emma [Victorian Romance]
It's a lovely little anime/manga series by Kaoru Mori. So pretty. I've actually cosplayed Emma before, but.... the cosplay needs a ton of work. XD But... VICTORIAN DRESS. I'm in love with Victorian/Edwardian clothes. Especially male... but there's some really really pretty female stuffs too..... *_________*
7) E major/E flat major
The lazy C-chan loves these keys because they play the same backwards and forwards, as far as black keys and white keys on the piano go. I also love palendromes, so yay for that.
8) Easter
Who can't like a holiday that gives you chocolate? Well... there's also a few other things to go with this... I have a bit of a love-hate relationship at times. Because it always overpowers my birthday when my birthday's there as well. Though it was fun to have my sweet sixteen literally be sweet, I... also like to feel like the day is special to me. Last year was kind of.... that. And it was on the Saturday of the weekend that year.
Actually... I think this will be the first time my birthday has been on a Sunday and NOT be Easter, within my lifetime. Heh.
9) Eh
Both as in the Canadian "eh?" and the Japanese "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH?!" it's a fun syllable to use. XD
10) Elrics
Eduard and Alphonse Elric. The brother team that forms the basis of FMA. I actually have muses for both of them, and Heiderich. Believe it or not, Ed was my first one, though Al now... outshines the other two. Usually that happens when I cosplay someone. XD
