30 Days [Day 1]

So, I suppose we should get started, eh?

Day 01 | Your favourite song

Argh, starting with a hard one already... *flails*

I know, it doesn't sound hard, but I've always been hard-pressed when it comes to choosing favourites for just about anything.

So here's five. And I could list more. But... here's five. Linked to on youtube because... is easy.
And five different categories-of-sorts with some honourable mentions. Heh.

1) Krystallen Den Fina

First, this song is so beautiful. Second, the lyrics are lovely. Third.... ok, there are some fangirlish reasons. >.>
I have a lovely arrangement of this that I love even more. Buuut this is a nice arrangement too.
(I'd also put Domaredansen down, but I really don't want to put more than one Swedish song =P)

2) You Are Music

SO PRETTY. And yes, I love the alto-soprano mix (even more than the usual male/female sound... not that this is a surprise... >.>)
Also: Elizabeth's prolog. More grandiose, but put as an alternate because I only love it up until Der Todd's appearance. (For some reason, that solo does nothing for me, only the large counterpointal parts of *drooooool*)

3) Soak Up The Sun

What? It's a very happy, upbeat, cute song. I love to sing along with it.
Also Enya's Only Time (ONLY THE ORIGINAL NOT THE REMIXES!!). And if you go by itunes, it'd have to be I Love You. (saaaap)

4) A Stray Child

or about anything .hack// ^^;
It's all sooo prettyy!!!!

5) Have you ever seen me

Did I mention I love cute things?
Also Prelude, one of the most cleansing songs I know, and The Promised Land, which I will forever remember for the line "We're so young / we bought some magic flowers". (Note, this was me mishearing the lyrics and it sticking. It's actually about magic powers. =P)

Also, my laptop has started giving me issues and freezing on me regularly. Over reading week, when I can't go and complain to someone at school and get it fixed.
Maybe this is a sign that I should spend less time on here.
...but then I have so much schoolwork to do because I have hardly been home all week...
....I should also do some cleaning....
Aaaarrrgggghhhh.....

I love the Wao and Hana version of Phantom. Wao's voice has such a great haunting quality.

I agree with you 100% about the Elisabeth prologue. There's anther part in the musical where it has the same haunting sound but more chaotic. It's in the epilogue, but I think they rearranged it for the Takarazuka version (cause I don't remember them killing off all her relatives).
Here's the German version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNtvjFhWQxo

Completely. I've only seen clips of both casts, but I have such a preference for theirs.
I also kinda want most of Christine's dresses. And a Phantom to cosplay and sing with....

I still prefer the prolog, but yeah, it does have the same kind of feel.
I also really prefer the Takarazuka's version of the prolog, because from all I've seen it's the version with the most counterpoint.
...is here where I say that I really don't like the movie version of The Phantom of the Opera's take on Primma Donna? (They cut out almost all of the pretty counterpoints!!! ToT It's sad when I can sing along to things that DON'T EXIST!!)
