Nov. 1st, 2005 06:39 amWell, I'm taking my first sick day since elementary school thanks to a) the fact that I'm slightly feverish, b) I've got a cough again (throat feels slightly clogged... but not to the point where I feel like I'm hacking up my lungs yet... *hugs Dani-chan, who felt like she was as of last time I checked), c) I'm really, really tired, and d) the huge a backlog of work. I'm not feeling all that horrible... but... yeah... I knew that I had a temperature when I woke up... I feel kinda icky... ;_; Plus... after more than 4 years... I think I'm due a sick day. >.<
Yesterday was good... I was walking around the school dressed as a a hobbit... ^_^
Basically my entire drama class was dressed up, though half changed out of their costumes after class.
One girl was dressed as Ginny, and I kept on telling her that we should fight to see whether HP or LOTR is indeed supreme. :P
Colleen (another girl from the class) was dressed as a sexy Snow White, and Andy (a guy from the class) seriously got to school, found a mask from AOST (a drama performance that had just gone on the week before), pulled out the dress shirt he was wearing, and looked JUST like Zorro. o_o It was cool. ^_^
There were some great costumes at school. My favourites were probably a guy I saw in the hallways who was dressed in black and with metal going down the arms and into claws, and a girl in my collab class who was cosplaying... she looked soooo cute! I loved her bangs... she had glued them onto a hairband... ^_^ I don't know who either of them were supposed to be, but they were awesome. ^_^ The most... *ahem* interesting was probably a guy dressed as a 7/1/upside down L/something. Yeah... it was... interesting... ^^;
A bunch of other people were wearing ears or wings or horns or what have you (though the majority was not in costume, of course. ;_;
ZOMG.
I want to hold a live action chess match at camp... or have camp kids over and have one.
Would anyone be interested?
