So. I've decided in the interest of mixing health and geekiness, I am going to set myself a few fitness goals over the next few months.
I have three: two are geeky, and one that isn't, but on the other hand will likely be made much easier by the first two.
Goal #1: Walk from Bag End to Rivendell before The Hobbit opens
Originally, I wanted to do the entire trip "there", but that would be around 10km/day, and I know I'm not going to do that. This, on the other hand, is 639km spread out over just short of 5 months. Still a lot of walking and a bit of a challenge, but more reasonable at least, for me.

Goal #2: Get an A or higher on Expert in DDR
I set myself ages ago, and am nowhere near there yet. I can do a few easy songs on difficult, but that's still not saying much.
And how is this a fitness goal? Well, it is DDR, after all. =3 Working on my dance moves means moving about and thus good exercise. =3
Goal #3: Get under 130 lbs by the end of summer
I've lost about 10 lbs since Christmas, but have been around stagnent since AN -- though there's been a bit of loss. I'm now at around 138. This is therefore around 1 lb/week, and therefore an entirely healthy weightloss goal. =3 (Mainly, I want the bellyfat gone. Time to work on those crunches....)
And for the record, 129.9 counts for me. So long as that second digit is a 2 and not a 3 (or 4, or 5....)
And there you have it -- my fitness goals for the next little while.
Hopefully I'll be giving you updates (mainly on goal #1, because of the dorkiness).
