box_of_doom | More ramblings

So... my room is still a complete and total mess. I've managed not to touch it today (eep!) but I am going to need to finish it before I leave for camp in a week.

Joyce and I played 2 games of Munchkin today, and I won both of them. Yay. It still makes me sad that I was the ONLY one in my drama class that knew how to use the word "munchkin" in more than one context (I know 3, and mixing them together is fun as you can get Munchkins eating munchkins while playing MUNCHKIN in Munchkinland. *nods*)

This was the second Sunday in a row that I haven't gone to church. I miss going and seeing everyone. Luckily, I'll spend 2 SOLID WEEKS with most of you... *grin* I love church camp... ^_^

Everyone seems to love camp though... well... almost everyone... *hugs the Jason*

I've always found it to be such a great experience. I love being there, hanging out with people (though I'm a bit of a loner... I have my moments of being loved, and my moments of crying and wishing that people would care about me at all...), campfires (^____________________________^) and all the little things that come out of camps. For instance, the SMOJ gained its name at Jr High the year it closed early. And... I'm the kind of person who gets sent around the dining hall because people want to get back at me for starting too many things during meals. (Hey! That's what meal time is for! They'd be bored without me. BORED I SAY!) I hope I can help run campfires this year... *wishful grin*

So... I got my pocky fix today. ^_^ I've been trying to get to GCS to get some for... about a month now, but mom's been refusing to take me. We were out shopping today and mom and dad decided we needed to go there when she remembered that a)I was there and b)I had my purse. I've got Men's pocky (my fave! It's dark chocolate! Mmm....), reverse pocky (chocolate...), and tomato pretz (my first pretz). Oh, and for those of you who haven't seen them already, the official pocky site has some new commercials. Mind you, I can't understand them with my Japanese skills (I understand... a couple basic phrases and about 50 words, and that's it. I wanna learn more!)

My weight's down a bit again, yay. Back below where I was like "eep, that's high", but still higher than I'd like by far. C-chan needs to lose weight. *nodnod* For those of you who's thinking that I'm being crazy, I have reasons. Type 2 (AKA adult onset diabetes) runs on both sides of my family. My grandfather has it, and my dad was borderline for a while. He doesn't need to test his bloodsugar levels anymore, but he did for a while. My mom was borderline getting another type of diabetes associated with type 2, which effects pregnant women (it has a long name that starts with a g). Apparently, she weighed less than I do now around the time that she got pregnant, meaning that my chances of getting it unless I change things are pretty high. Not to mention that if you get it, you are MUCH more likely to get type 2 later on in life than if you don't. I know that diabetes is not a horrible disease, or even as bad as it was 50 years ago. Still, it takes years off of your life. On top of that... I'm scared of needles/stabbing myself to take daily blood tests. *sheepish grin*

My "class of 2005" grad photo arrived in my mailbox rolled up today. >.< We were a little less than pleased with that, but I'm still happy to have it. It wasn't completely ruined thank goodness, and it looks pretty good now. I've got it in the book thingy that I got my "class of 2001" elementary school grad photo in. It looks good. ^_^

I miss everyone.

I miss my friends from elementary school who I drifted away from because they moved and I moved and we all went to different schools.

I'm still scared about the future.
