Call in 3 month's time...
Well, I'm home... and so I'm gonna talk about my weekend.
The hotel we stayed at was a Delta inn, which was minutes away from the resort place that the presentation was at... we had full access to all activities/facilities at both places, so that was kinda cool. There were a couple contests, and we managed to win a few items... 5 in all if I'm not mistaken. Mind you, some, or rather, most of them were fairly cheap, but still...
One thing I must say, when you see a sign saying "family entertainment" you have to hope that it means something like oldies that everyone will enjoy, not kids' songs. I saw both... well actually the kiddie one was a Christmas thing, on December 29th, a few days late, don't'ya think? At least the magic part was entertaining... a few new tricks, but still mostly geared towards little'uns. At the oldies one, we managed to win 2 CDs, one for being the best @ doing the twist + Chicken dance (monks meal version meets spinning while clapping) and one in a singing competition thingy for moms. How precise wording I use, eh?
The beds were about the same size as the one that I have all to myself at home... and it's not exactly fun sharing a bed with your sister, believe me. I think the bed might've even been a bit smaller... it felt that way anyway...
And that's all I've got to say about my weekend.
I got to talk with some great people I haven't heard from in a while today. ^_^ They're both friends of mine from elementary school.
First, there's Vanessa. She moved away back in grade 9. We've emailed each other a bit, but I've hardly kept in contact with her... and I do miss her. She was a great friend. And, I found out today that she's an anime fan. Go random friends of mine who turn out to like anime too!
Then, there's Catie. Such an enthusiastic person who is a Pickering High bound giftie, involved in many a thing. I talk to her more than Vanessa, and run into her every now and again through the dance classes she shares with Joyce, but still don't talk to her as much as I should.
It's hard to stay in contact with friends sometimes, isn't it? I hope that I never drift away entirely from any of you guys... I <3 you all, and I hope you know it.
As for new years... I really wish the house-hopping thing was going on... that would've been great. And the other plan doesn't look too promising either, but I will email/call you guys (you know who you are) if it does somehow get OK'd. So... as of right now, it looks as if I'll be spending New Year's at home with my folks and the Adamsons, my sister and I being the only ones under the age of 30. I'm used to this... it's what usually happens... but it would be nice to have some friends around... closer to my age. ^_^
Well, no matter how we end up spending it, I hope everyone enjoys the last 24 and a bit hours of this year. It's had some pretty good moments, no?
Happy new year, everyone. Let's make it great.
You're strawberry!!! You have a big imagination and
you're usually in the middle of everything. You
can be crazy and wild but sometimes you just
want to settle down.
Are You Chocolate or Vanilla?

Strawberry... yum... ^_^

You're chocolate. You're the old soul type, people
feel that they have known you their entire
life. Many often open up to you for they view
you as thoughtful and trustworthy. Although
people trust you, you have a hard time trusting
them. You prefer to keep your feelings bottled
up inside, or display them very quietly. It is
alright to open up every once in a while.

you are the cute but psycho happy bunny. You

you might not have it all, but there are worse

Compassion: You are there to share your sympathy

affectionate and caring, and someone to look up
to.

And ya... at least there's RCAF, and an anime marathon... though a large part of it is DB and it's spinnoffs, which I don't like...
I'm the only crazy bunny so far? Weird...
Well, happy

Three years in a row we watch the LotR movie for the second time at New Years! We had to force it, this year, but yeah. :D
I have a love/hate relationship with Dragon Ball. I spend half the time insulting the fact that 36 hours worth of episodes are spent fighting the same bad guy (all of it supposed to take place over, like, 20 hours). Then along came a bigger, badder enemy, now matter how strong the last one was! This came this:
DBGT Announcer: Will Goku and his friends be able to the defeat the powers of God?!?!?!?
No.
But tune in next week to watch it happen anyways!
(How do you cross out words?) Happy New Year to you, too.

minus the spaces of course.
And have fun going to see it...
If it was tomorrow I would have asked if could come along... got gift certificates for multiple theatres for Christmas... -_-
Will use them eventually...

It might be tommorrow, but it would be like, pre-noon cause that's when they always leave (the Paradis). That's why I think we're going today if at all. Nonetheless, I will see that movie again. And I'll probably use those certificates, too. *is hopeful*

Well, would it be just us, or who else would we drag along? And when is good for everyone thus involved? Hmmm...

And I'll email you about more specific times, just in case of any stalkers... *shifty eyes*
