Happy New Year everyone!

*sigh* I managed to start the year off on a not-too-good note... had a nice fever again yesterday. Further proof that fate-sama has something with making me sick only on holidays. :(

I'm better today... though I've got a bad cough... go colds/allergies... -_-


I had a weird dream last night... a guy asked me if I'd go out with him, but he did it more like a proposal. No, not down on one knee with a ring... like one of the out-of-the-ordinary ones you see on TV. Then I hugged him, and it went on for a while until I woke up... while still asleep--t'was a dream within a dream. I had breakfast (a bagel) and told some people about my dream. They said some things about it, I rebuked it. Then I went to a dollar store with some friends looking for Christmas cards... there was something about how to tell if a guy likes you or something... I was tempted to buy it. I ended up just getting 2 cards. Then there was a story thing... but being a dream, though someone was telling it, I was observing it as if it were real, or a movie or something of the sort. It involved 3 characters that were cursed... one of which was an elephant. The curse was supposedly causing them to laugh all night, but they were physically changed as well, into some sort of weird pink and purple totem-like thing. They had to travel to another village to get their curse lifted. When it was, the elephant turned into a Chinese-like dragon with purple and green scales that glimmered gold in the light. When they returned to their own village, everyone else was cursed, so they had to heal them by giving them... ginger I think. They healed the youngest first, then made a liquid containing the ginger or whatever it was to heal the rest with. I then woke up (for real this time) with a song about taking medicine from giving the other villagers the liquid stuff stuck in my head. It was, like, quarter to 9. That sounds early to most, I know... but I hardly ever sleep in past 8... meh. So, that's the weird-ish dream I had last night. The first bit was actually realistic... it was right up until the story part began.


So... there's just 3 days left of vacation now, including today. I don't wanna go back to the s-word! Take out the hyphen and you have a sword. See how deadly it is?

There's only 1 month to survive through in the semester though... which can be seen as a good thing or a bad thing. I'm seeing it as a good thing 'cause I only have 1 formal this semester, then basically a whole week of nothingness *sigh* but if this were next semester, I wouldn't be saying that.

I still have homework I have to do for Monday... Me no wanna do :( Watch me procrastinate and do it Monday morning...

Sick twice in one break? Fate-sama is out to get Claire-chan. That's terribly unfair.

This is a very interesting dream. Very interesting indeed. I have a strange feeling that the second half of the dream offers a more profound look at your subconsious, but frankly, I'm no expert and wouldn't know what it was telling you. I'm not far from taking guesses at the first half, however, though I would certainly not try without permission (though I think you'll have no problem with my analysys that your shopping for Christmas Cards is a sign that you want it to be Christmas again).

Out of curiosity, were all the people in your dream real people? In all my dreams involving a dream within a dream, someone (different each time) I don't recognise shows up, though usually in the background. It's probably just me. I personally can't stand dreams-within-dreams. They make me paranoid all day long.

There's only a little bit of school left! And so little of it is Co-op! YAAAY!

I've got homework too, but I'd only do it if I wanted my life to be easier and naturally I'm too lazy to want to lighten my homework load. Good luck to you.

First of all... everyone in my dream in the part I deemed realistic were real people unless they were in the background, or they were one of the clerks at the dollar store, or the story teller.

Personally, I think I can explain most of the dream... between 2 things: one of which is the fact that I saw Peter Pan 2 days ago... and Wendy fills up a blossom with water and called it medicine. ^^;

Dreams within dreams don't make me paranoid. They're just part of the overall dream... and sometimes the rest wouldn't make sense without it (I was talking about the dream to others when I "woke up"... how else would I have known what I was talking about?).

As far as Jellicles go... The naming of cats is a difficult matter... *heh*

Actually, Jellicles are what they call the cats in CATS, but it is elsewhere explained that all cats are Jellicle cats. Still, when it's used, people are 99% of the time referring to the tribe from CATS
