Hello all. C-chan here, bringing you the last lj post of… well… the normal part of the semester.

That’s right… today is the last day of school for me! All I have after today is three exams, the first of which is over two weeks away (April 20th).

And so… I’m in my very last lecture right now, and we’re in a lull formed by course evaluation forms… soooo… I’m writing an lj post. Meaning… I’m probably gonna break your friends page by elongation. Again.

After this class, I will have a 3 hour gap, then my 1-hour tutorial and then I’m done. It’ll be nice to be able to be… at least somewhat lazy. This might not happen till next Monday or Tuesday, but it will be nice whenever it happens. *nods*

Everyone, keep an eye on CBC and CTV for stuff on Return to Vimy. My baby sister is in England right now, on the biggest field trip ever, and over the next few days she’ll be making her way over to Vimy, where she’ll be helping to… I think sort of reenact the battle? It’s gonna be huge… the QUEEN is gonna be there.

I can’t wait to see it. ^^

Back to MY school news… I’m still waiting for cast list… no idea when I’ll be getting it, but I’m more confident than ever now. Why? I got 13/15 on my monologue. That’s 87%. And she gave me lots of positive comments that… sound kind of promising. To quote the email she sent me…

"I thought your monologue was very well done. You had a very clear, personal approach to the character and your moment to moment work was well focused with clear intentions.

"Your work this term has grown, Claire, specifically in the way you truthfully connected with your acting partners. Keep the stakes high."

She was saying that the monologue was more or less our audition into next year… so… we’ll certainly see what happens.

My birthday is in less than a week. Easter is also in less than a week. This might be the first year in which I don’t get an Easter egg hunt. Yes, I’m almost 19 and I’ve always had easter egg hunts up to now. The only reason why I’m wondering if I’ll not have one this year is because my sister ISN’T here. And… when people aren’t around, things change. I mean… the year before I went to NYC over Halloween was the first year I didn’t go Trick-Or-Treating. *siiigh* but ah well. Had to happen sometime.

I will get my breakfast served by men though. ^^

I think I’ve hit a record this year… I’ve Rrrrrrrolled up two wining rims. Both of which are for a hot drink of my choice (it says coffee, but it DOES mean any hot drink). I cashed in the first today… and I don’t know when I shall my second. But I shall. Go free drinks! ^^

And yesterday, a friend of mine gave me a beautiful Chinese fan… it’s so pretty. And smells nice. And has pandas. ^^ *glomps Felicity even though she’s probably not gonna read this*

Anime club is getting cooler and cooler all the time, I swear. I love just going to the club booth and having random conversations with the people… especially when Shannon’s there. Oh gosh… random stuff has come out of it. Like… I’m apparently gonna be a double agent/assassin within the anime club in this manga that may or may not be made, and I have to come up with a posse but I have no idea who I should have in my posse and… yes. Randomness.

It is also through that that I ended up making a personality quiz about “what flavour of pocky are you?” and may be making a FLCL based article over the next few days. We’ll see.

AN is a month and a half away. I REALLY need to start working on costumes.

As of now, my plan is to do Koushirou Izumi and Honey-sempai. I still don’t know if I should make or buy my blazer for the latter… but I’ll figure it out, I’m sure. (If anyone has any ideas, let me know!)

Hmmm… what else can I talk about?

Today is Maundy Thursday, and my dad’s not feeling well. Sooo… I’m at school until my mom can pick me up on her way to that. I’m not sure whether this is a “yay” or not. Buuut… it works and that’s what’s important, I guess.

And… yeah. By the time you guys see this, I will be done class for this school year.

…yeah.
